Don't believe everything you see
Saw this pic on Post Secret and is it just my imagination or is it subliminal (or not so subliminal on purpose) - that her "dress" looks like a man's genitalia? The subtext of the post card was sexual so obviously I'm not the only one seeing it. Yea?

DC...It's pretty but the politics SUCK!
Read this article on CNN about Obama's speech where he claimed he was talked about like a dog? He was not my first choice; anyone reading this blog in the past knows I was looking for a female persuasion. Anyway, despite the rough beginnings known as the Democratic Primaries I was going to be positive. I didn't turn my back on the party.
After 18 months I hang my head exhausted with all the bullshit...SAME OL' BULLSHIT! I have been very disappointed in this admin. and the party as a whole. They have been an ultimate embarassment and a comment in the "comments" section (go figure) said it far better than I would ever be able to articulate:

What is it about Washington that distracts whomever goes there? I've been disappointed lately with my fellow democrats because we sound and act just like everyone else. Promise, spend, argue and blame! How about doing what we were sent to do...create a new culture in which we actually get something done. Historians will rightly take us to task since we didn't do what we promised even though we owned the town at the time.

Wow, that blue dress incident just doesn't seem like that big of a deal anymore, does it? Politics, the biggest joke humans ever created. Can we get them ALL out of office, PLEASE!

Missed biz opp
So we were discussing Sexting at work today. And of course I was goofing off about how much easier this generation has it with their technology. They don't have to buy expensive polaroids or worry who's developing their goods. They just use their cell phones and send them directly out to whomever is the chosen recipient.
Then I got this brilliant idea (about 10+ years too late).

Emma gets a STAR
One of my top fave actresses got her star on Hollywood's walk of fame...really? Just now? Thought it would have already occurred.
Anyhow, what a great pic - the celebratory pose and support team (ie> pig) in check!
