I was perusing some blogs and came across Dooce which I have lurked by before. There was this one recent post in particular that actually had me guffaw out loud :
"...she stuck her fingers in the jar and then slapped some applesauce into her hair. She showed me! Not only is she not going to eat it but she’s also going to decorate her body in protest. Awesome. We’re raising a hippie."
Total visual and I was laughing - especially with that last line. That truly is something to be proud of! To have principle and conviction at that age??? That so rocks!
