Prepped the ground Friday for sod to arrive for Sat. morning. Found this great stone on CL only a mile from home - three truckloads (1 1/2 pallets) later we still have 2 1/2 pallets left to pick up!
Sod arrived and we got to work - ALL DAY SATURDAY. I hurt everywhere...EVERYWHERE. We did a little here...
and a little more over here....
and with 17 rolls left over we filled in the kids play area - Jojo's idea - what a great big brother. He swore he's water it by hand every day after school as one of his chores. I'll be trenching again this coming week to put in the sprinkler but thought he was so cute about it. He did the brick edging to make it look good and is so excited to have the kids play on it in a couple weeks.

I think...I hope?! Very busy and ACTIVE week. I'm ready to come back to work and relax! HAHA!

dude!~ looks fantastic.....however....i am left wondering how quickly a little ones feet are going to catch & faceplant?....hopefully INTO the grassy knoll...& not the dirt...lol
