RIP MTV

For the first time in 30 +/- years, MTV changed its logo removing the tag line below "Music Televisino." This saddens me...am I being dramatic?

No! MTV, MUSIC TELEVISION, was a staple; a right of passage of my adolesence and young adulthood.

Not that it evolved into much of a music television station...frankly, it's been a very long time since it could be considered MUSIC television.

I suppose this change of icon just officially represents what my generation and I already knew to be true...MTV passed a loooonnnngggg time ago, unfortunately. RIP MTV Music Television.
